Just hung up a stunning bulletin board of Cardinal in Winter paintings. These were done completely with paint. No drawing! Just brushstrokes. Ask any K-2 student about the “Gnarly Wand,” Ms. Vella’s brilliant invention, a handmade painting tool that helps create natural-feeling branches.
